Dona Ana Films & Multimedia is a full-service audiovisual production company based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

We tell true stories with empathy. We have worked with international clients ranging from NGOs, corporate clients, and television and radio stations. We’ve created everything from bespoke documentaries to branded content to event coverage and podcasts.

Dona Ana Films & Multimedia produced the award-winning documentary short “3 Siblings”. The company has also worked on productions that are focused on mega-sporting events such as the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, the 2015 Copa America in Chile, and the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

Dona Ana Films & Multimedia is operational in Canada, and works with partners in Latin America. We are interested in both partnerships and individual projects.

Sandro Silva

Sandro Silva is an Edmonton-based filmmaker, and the co-owner of Dona Ana Films & Multimedia. He executive produced and produced the award-winning documentary short "3 Siblings" (2018). In his home country of Brazil, he has worked as a producer on various documentary projects including: Rotten, Ep. 4 "Big Bird" (2018, Netflix), "Beyond the Map" (2016, Google), and "Johnny in Oranje" (2014, RTL), among others. Sandro worked on several projects for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and Rio 2016 as a production coordinator. He co-directed and produced the experimental short "1000 Brazils of Truth" (2021). Before becoming a filmmaker, Sandro was a copyright lawyer in São Paulo.

Sheena Rossiter

Sheena Rossiter

Sheena Rossiter is an award-winning journalist, podcaster, and filmmaker. From 2013 to 2017, she was the Rio de Janeiro correspondent for Monocle magazine and a senior video journalist at Perform Group, now known as DAZN. Before that, she was based in São Paulo, London, and Barcelona. Her audio and video work has been broadcast by the CBC, the BBC, and the New York Times, among others. She has produced various documentaries and podcasts. She’s the co-founder and a partner at Dona Ana Films & Multimedia.
